info.link is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables brands and retailers to create digital labels. A digital label extends the physical product packaging or other media, giving consumers direct access to reliable, detailed, and interactive product information.
Consumers typically access a digital label by scanning a QR code. While QR codes are most often printed on product packaging, they can also appear in print ads, television spots, or any other medium. Scanning the code takes the consumer to a dedicated info.link Page that provides information beyond what fits on a physical label.
info.link is built around three key item types: Pages, Templates, and Modules. Together, these form the foundation of every digital label.
A Page is the digital label that consumers see after scanning a QR code. There are two types of Pages in info.link:
Product Pages – linked to a product identified by an EAN number.
Media Pages – linked to media such as print advertising or promotional campaigns that are not tied to an EAN number.
You can create a new Page by pressing the “Create” button at the top right of the screen and then selecting the “Product” (for Pages with an EAN number) or “Media” (for Pages without EAN number) card from the Library.
A Template is a reusable structure that defines the layout and content for multiple Pages. Templates are especially useful for managing large portfolios of products or campaigns.
Updating a Template automatically updates all Pages that use it.
Local adjustments can still be made at the individual Page level if needed.
You can create a new Template by pressing the “Create” button at the top right of the screen and then selecting the “Template” card from the Library.
A Module is the smallest content element within info.link. Modules are arranged on a Page to build the consumer-facing experience. Examples include:
Header – display your logo or brand name.
Link – create a button that connects to an external URL.
Green Claim – present environmental claims with certifications and evidence.
Text – add explanatory content.
You can create a new Module by pressing the “Create” button at the top right of the screen and then selecting a Module from the Library, e.g. Link, Text, etc.
All available items in info.link are listed in the Library:
Products
Media
Templates
special items like Folders to group several Modules
Modules (the types of Modules is continually expanded; reach out if you need a custom Module for your brand)
You can access the Library by pressing the “Create” button at the top right of the screen.
At a high level, the workflow in info.link looks like this:
Create a Product or Media – for example, by entering an EAN number for a Product.
Create a Template – define the structure and core Modules that should apply to multiple Pages.
Add Modules – choose from the Library to build the content of your Template.
Assign Template to Pages – apply the Template to your Products or Media.
Adjust locally if needed – fine-tune the Page by reordering Modules or turning certain Modules off.
This combination gives you both efficiency (manage many Pages at once through Templates) and flexibility (adapt individual Pages when required).
Every Page in info.link is connected to a unique, compliant GS1 Digital Link QR code. These QR codes are:
Automatically generated by info.link.
Print-ready for inclusion in packaging artwork.
Fully compliant with GS1 standards, which are expected to replace traditional barcodes from 2027 onwards.

In addition, info.link provides a short link for each Page. This ensures that consumers can access the digital label even if they cannot scan a QR code – for example, by typing the short link manually into a browser.
